ClixSense - Fun Money

It's about time for a ClixSense write-up, I think ... along with a progress report on my activity. I know I already have a similar writeup that I posted back in December, but this is a little bit different from that one. I also talk about how the Premium account is really worth it ... I got back my $17 already, after 4 months ... read on:

ClixSense is a pretty decent site. I really like the stats they provide for you (such as Transaction history and being able to break it down by your own activity and your referrals activity, plus lots of other interesting info). Here's a summary of the site:

Complete the Daily Checklist Bonus. The minimum you have to do is:
  • 2 ads a day (6-50 seconds)
  • 15 clicks on ClixGrid (150 seconds)
  • Visit a page on the forum (1 second)
  • 10 Tasks OR 2 Offers (Or a combination of 1 Offer and 5 Tasks)

It doesn't take all that long and you get a bonus for completing the Daily Checklist. The bonus amount is based on how much you've earned that day; 5% of that for standard, 12% for Premium (I'll explain Premium later). Completing the Daily Checklist is not a requirement, it's just another way to earn a bit extra with the bonus.

The ads run anywhere from 3 seconds to 30 seconds. The process to watch an ad is interesting. Well, the interesting part is the CAPTCHA. There are 5 pictures, 4 of which are dogs and one is a cat. Find and Click on the cat to start the timer running. When I first started, I didn't click on the ads much (except for the 2 needed to complete the Daily Checklist) because they generally didn't pay much (a penny or less per ad). However, I discovered that often when I was talking on the phone to someone boring, rather than play Solitaire like I used to do, I started clicking the ads. Might as well earn some money at the same time.

The ClixGrid can be fun. There's a grid with a scenic picture on it. Click on a square on the grid and watch the ad that comes up (for 10 seconds standard, 5 seconds Premium) and you either win or you don't. I've won 10 cents 3 times, but you can win up to $5. Close that ad and you get a new pretty picture to click on. The pictures are really nice and you can even download them if you want to. Someone on reddit.com/r/beermoney/ referred to it as "scenery porn", an amusing description.

Between the offers or the tasks, the offers pay better and the Daily Surveys are generally the best ones to do (I've had problems sometimes with the others ... not always, but sometimes I don't get credit for completing them).

Payouts

Payouts are done twice a week, on Monday and Friday. Minimum payout is $8 for standard $6 for Premium. These payments are via PayPal, Payza or Liberty Reserve (and also via checks, but checks are only paid once a month).

Referrals

As always, referrals are what help bring in the money for you! I have 21 referrals (only 10 are currently active), which have brought in almost $20 since the beginning of December. Now, that doesn't sound really great, but let me mention the Premium account now and you'll see how it gets better fast.

The Premium account costs $17/year and here are some of the benefits you get:
  • Referral signup commissions
  • Higher direct referral click commissions
  • More chances to win in ClixGrid
  • More ads available
  • 8-Tier Affiliate Program (you get paid through 8-tiers for referrals who also upgrade their accounts)

You don't have to spend your own money to upgrade to a Premium account, you can use your existing winnings (rather than cashing out). If you're a little short but don't want to wait any longer, you can pay the difference from your PayPal account. My first month with Premium was in February and I made almost $3 more than I had made in January, with one less referral transaction. In March, I got $4.16 just from my referrals! And, yeah, I did get my $17 back pretty quickly ... as of today, my referrals have earned me (since I upgraded to Premium) $17.04. So, there you have it ... Premium is definitely worth investing in, I got the $17 back in 4 months. The rest of the year is gravy!

Please give ClixSense a try! And don't forget to try the Premium account, once you've decided you like ClixSense!

Cash Outs Third Month

Well, I'm a little behind in reporting my cash outs for February (seeing as it's mid-March already), but here's where I stand:

With Instant Cash Sweepstakes, I cashed out three times in February (as mentioned in other posts, you only need $2 to cash out): $2.11, $2.37 and $2.71, for a total of $7.19.

With FusionCash (which has a $25 cash out limit), I got my second cash out late in February. It was for $25.74.  As mentioned in other posts, to cash out you need to have a minimum of $15 coming from offers, the remaining can be from bonuses.

I mentioned last month that I had made enough with ClixSense, to be able to buy the Premium subscription (which is $17 for a year). This was within the last couple of days of January, so basically January was non-Premium and February was Premium. I didn't cash out in February (but did March 1st for $6.03, so close enough), but I'd like to mention how having the Premium subscription has improved my bottom line, between what I earned from my referrals in January versus February:
About the same number of referral transactions:
35 in January, 34 in February ...
But substantially more money from those transactions under the Premium subscription:
$0.68 in January, $3.15 in February! Wow!

Cash Outs Second Month

Two months into my new venture now and I've gotten a few more cash outs  (I only use PayPal in case you're wondering). For the month of January, I've had the following cash outs:

Instant Cash Sweepstakes cashed out twice (as mentioned in other posts, you only need $2 to cash out): Jan 4th ($2.01) and on Jan 23rd ($2.06).

With FusionCash (which has a $25 cash out limit), I finally got my first cash out! It was for $37.02!  To cash out, you need to have a minimum of $15 coming from offers, the remaining can be from bonuses.

And I made enough with ClixSense, to be able to buy the Premium subscription (which is $17 for a year). I guess I didn't mention the Premium subscription in my previous post about ClixSense, but what it gives you is more PTC ads,  more chances to win with the ClixGrid, higher commissions from your referrals, plus when anyone in your downline (up to 8 levels deep) upgrades to a Premium subscription, you get a $2 commission if it was a direct referral that upgraded, and $1 for any referral in the next 7 levels that upgrade.

Deals 'n' Cash Is A Sister Site

Deals 'n' Cash is a sister site to Hits4Pay. They work exactly the same (except that Deals 'n' Cash only pays 1 cent for each click, whereas Hits4Pay is usually 2 cents). See my Hits4Pay review here on my blog: Hits4Pay Is A Hit!

But, I'll do a quick summary of the highlights here:
  1. I'm pretty sure that the referral system is the same as Hits4Pay, which is a 2-level downline (I don't currently have any referrals, so I'm not 100% sure about this). You will earn half of what your direct referrals earn, plus half of each of the referral's referrals. Getting a lot of motivated referrals really helps you with the passive income!
  2. Unlike some other sites, you don't have to have the site's browser window in focus. I'll typically go through these ads while I'm doing something else on my computer, makes it pretty simple.
  3. Choose the maximum number of categories that you can (15) and diversify amongst the various types of categories ... you'll get more ads that way.
So check it out, and enjoy! Deals 'n' Cash

Hits4Pay Is A Hit!

I recently started using Hits4Pay. They have been around since 1998 (or so it says on their website)! I hear that they are pretty reputable. They have a generous signup commission of $5, but the thing I really like is their referral program, because they have a two-level downline. In other words, you earn money from your direct referrals PLUS you also earn money from each of your direct referral's referrals! The more the merrier, I always say!

Getting Started

  1. First, you have to choose from 10-15 "interest categories". These will determine the kinds of email advertisements that you get sent. I recommend choosing the max number (15), even if it means choosing categories that you're not interested in, because it really doesn't matter if you care about the subject matter you receive or not. At least, I don't care about it (but, maybe you do).
  2. Then you will start receiving emails (from 0 - 10 daily) titled "HITS4PAY - PAID e-MAIL". Click to login to your Hits4Pay account to read the paid ads that are waiting for you.
  3. You may also choose to simply login to your Hits4Pay account directly via your browser, and click on "Paid Ads" | "New Paid Ads" to check for new paid emails (this is typically what I do, I just login and check once a day).

What Happens Next

  1. If you have any new messages, the first one will be displayed, so click to open it. The message will have a button or link that says "Click Here" or something similar. You will then be taken to the advertiser's website (it opens in the same browser window).
  2. There will be a Hits4Pay banner above the advertiser's website (in other words, their website is opening within a frame of the Hits4Pay website).
  3. After 60 seconds, an orange button that says Click Here to View Next Advertisement will appear on the right side of the Hits4Pay banner above the website.
  4. Click on this button to validate that email and to receive your credit (usually $0.02). You will then be taken back to the next new message waiting for you.

What I Like

  1. First, as I already mentioned, I really like their referral system, with the 2-level downline. You will earn $0.01 for each validated email that your direct referrals read. Plus, you will earn $0.01 from each validated email that your direct referral's referral reads.
  2. And here's the second thing I like about Hits4Pay: unlike some other sites, you don't have to have the site's browser window in focus. I'll typically go through these ads while I'm doing something else on my computer, makes it pretty simple.

Downsides

  1. Cashout is $25.00 (which I think is high). Once your account balance reaches $25.00 or more, it will be "zeroed out" on the 1st of the following month to pay out your commissions and your Hits4Pay account will show a $0.00 balance at this time. Once your account has been "zeroed out", your commissions will be transferred to your PayPal account on or around the 15th of that month. In other words, once you reach $25, it could possibly take up to 45 days before you get paid! That would happen if you hit $25 early in the month. Even minimally, you're looking at 16 days or so. Ouch!
  2. This is the one that a lot of people balk at: Hits4Pay insists on your filling out a W9 before they'll pay you. That means you have to give them your SSN. It's for tax reasons, blah, blah, blah ... However, they have been around for a long time (as I mentioned above, since 1998) and everything I've read say that they are totally legitimate and that they don't screw with your SSN. I haven't yet gotten to the point of being ready to cash out though, so I haven't filled out the W9 form yet.

Recommendation

I think that Hits4Pay has the potential to bring in some consistent money. The key is to get a healthy downline, so sign up for Hits4Pay today under my referral and then get to work getting your own referrals! It'll benefit us both!

FusionCash = DecentCash

I like the FusionCash site. It has the potential to net you a good amount of money fairly quickly. I've only been visiting the site for about 4 weeks (and initially, not every day) and my balance is already up to more than $13. Let me tell you something about it.

FusionCash has several different ways to earn money.
  1. $5.00 Signup Bonus!
  2. The Daily Cash email ($0.02, you need to sign up for it).
  3. Paid To Click is a quick $0.15 every day.
  4. Daily FC Surveys, which range from $1.00 to $3.00
  5. Daily Tasks, range from $0.01 to $0.25
  6. Various other Surveys, Offers and Videos
  7. Paid To Post (get $3.00 per month for posting 30 times to the forum)
Once you've gotten familiar with the various offers, you can Bookmark the ones you like and then you can always start your day from the Bookmarked items. You can also "hide" the offers you don't want to bother with, so your Offers page isn't cluttered with offers that you have no intention of ever doing.

Cashout

Cashout amount is $25, but $15 of that must be in completed offers (not bonuses). They pay via PayPal (US and Canada), checks or direct deposit (US only) after the 20th of each month. One thing they require though: offers and bonuses expire if not cashed out within 180 days of being credited. Shouldn't be a problem, but don't forget about it!

Referrals

I don't have any referrals yet (that's why I'm posting this!), but it looks like a decent referral system:
  1. Refer a friend who confirms his/her email address: $1 bonus
  2. Your friend completes his/her first offer: $2 bonus
  3. Your friend cashes out: $5 bonus (each and every time they cashout - for life)

My daily routine:

  1. The first thing I do every day is click on the Daily Cash email I get. It only pays $0.02, but it only takes a minute and I have to login to the site anyway, so this is a quick way to get there.
  2. Then I go the Offers page and my Bookmarked items.
  3. First, I do the Paid To Click offer. It only pays $0.15, but it also is pretty quick (about 3 minutes) and painless.  All you have to do is click on four different items in the "STEP 1: CONTENT" section, one sponsored ad in the "STEP2: SPONSERS" section and then you have to wait for the countdown (from 3 minutes) in "STEP3: REDEEM" to complete. Once the 3 minutes are up, there will be two links under the Redeem section. You may have to click the Refresh (and you don't see the second one until you've clicked the first).
  4. Next, I'll try a few of the surveys (and sometimes other offers). I always check the FC Surveys first, because they pay from $1 to $3. I like that they tell you how long a survey should take and I won't do one that takes more than 15 minutes (not worth my time and I get bored if they're longer than that).

Stuff I May Start Doing Regularly

  1. I've only done the Paid Videos a couple of times, but I just recently became aware of the fact that you can click on all the videos, one after another, without waiting for each one to finish and still get credit for all of them (keep in mind that you do have to let them all finish at some point or you won't get credit). Videos only pay $0.01 to $0.03 which is why I hadn't been regularly doing them. However, I may give it a try again with this new way of doing it ... and I'll obviously want to turn off my sound!!  ;0)
  2. There is a Contests & Promotions section in the Forum which I only became aware of today. Every weekend they have a mini-promotion giveaway for answering trivia questions or other simple items. Example right now is a "survey" asking what about your New Years Resolution is. They don't pay much (the New Years one is $0.02), but they don't take much time either. And every Tuesday/Wednesday, a sports-related promotion. Other items that will earn you money are things like posting a screenshot of your payout, following FusionCash on Twitter, etc.

Stuff I Don't Do:

  1. I've not bothered with the "Paid To Post" forum postings that I mentioned at the beginning of this blog post. Too much of a time-waster in my opinion, but some people like forum posting. If you're one of them, then go for it. =0)
  2. I also don't do any games for the same reason (time-waster), but I'm also not much into games, other than the Spider Solitaire game on my laptop. =0)
  3. The Daily Tasks seem to me to take too much time for what you get paid. Maybe it's just me though, so you may want to take a look at it yourself.
This is fast becoming my favorite site (well, second behind InstantCashSweepstakes, which is definitely my favorite)! Take some time to check it out, here's the link: FusionCash

Cash Outs First Month

I've been doing this "Money For Nothing" stuff for a month now (although rather sporadically for the first 2 weeks), and I'd like to report the 4 cash outs I've received for my first month.

With Instant Cash Sweepstakes I've been able to cash out the most number of times ... I've earned enough to cash out 3 times (you only need $2 to cash out). On Dec. 6th ($2.00), 17th ($2.07) and again today ($2.85) ... only 4 days later! The reason for the quick turnaround this last time is because I just won the $2.00 coin drawing that is held every 4 hours (see my blog post review here: Taking Surveys to New Level).

However, ClixSense gave me a better dollar amount for my first cash out there on the 17th ($8.81). Minimum amount for cash out is $8. See my blog post review here: ClixSense Has Scenery Porn
I hope to post a new review soon about FusionCash, another one of my favorites.
